Punching through yet again with an impressive EP from “Squane” along with 2 remixes from the scenes leaders “Hypho” & “Troy Gunner”.

No messing about “Totemic”, delivers an EP of heavy bass, tear out synth designed and enough flavour to keep the ravers in the dance.

Squane, found on Jelly Bean Farm, Bunk Audio, 877 Records and Lifted Contingency and Residing in the states hasn’t held back from finding a path through to the UK bass scene. Totemic clearly show “Squane” and his advancement though the genre, delivering a raw and ripped back creative interpretation of 2016 underground.

Along for the ride Artifice invite Hypho & Troy Gunner to lay up the remix side of the package. Troy Gunner known for his involvements with rinse.fm, Fabric, Losing Suki, White Asega, Black Butter & Infinite Machine to name a few, has taken on the track “Affliction” and smashed it a new one with his bottom end growls and stereo fed percussion elements.

Hypho known for dropping on 877, Boss Mode, Hot Cakes, Punks and Second to None takes on “Romper” and gives it a dub feel with a bottom end guaranteed to shake the system. With cleverly placed sound design popping off in and around the stereo field, the detail on the mix is impressive.
